Four: Pippin plays hide and seek

Hello again humans! It's me, Pippin, the funny cat from Yorkshire! This week, Rosie and I were very happy, because the silly Ruth girl went away to university! She is so silly, she is always dancing about and drinking coffee, and when Jan and Adrian went away, she kept forgetting to feed us! Luckily, we managed to open the fridge using an ingenious magnetic device that Rosie invented when she was a COW in Russia. ('COW' means 'Cat of war' - not a cow! How could Rosie be a cow? She's a cat!) Funny Rosie, she's always telling war stories and showing me her shrapnel scars.

Anyway, when silly Ruth went away, Rosie and I had a little party, and played a fun game of Hide and Seek! Rosie is especially good at playing Hide and Seek, because she was always trying to run away from the Russians at the Cat of War camp.

Here's Rosie counting to ten with her back turned so I can run away!

I'd better run away as quick as I can, so Rosie doesn't find me! But these stairs are so big! I'll never make it in time!

At last, I've found a brilliant hiding place! I am so clever. Rosie will never find me here.

 And do you know what? Rosie never did find me. She's so old, she forgot all about the game of hide and seek and fell asleep on top of the cooker. Funny Rosie!

Right, I'd better be off. There are so many things for a little cat to get up to! Bye for now!
