I like my special clothDearest friends,

hello. My name is Lewis Carroll, I am a writer, And a very good one too. Welcome, welcome one and all, to my page of fun

It's a page of fun, a page of fun

A page of fun for everyone

Especially pretty little girls

For they are small and nice.

A little poem for you there. Perhaps later I shall compose on tune for it on my lute. I do enjoy playing my lute, it makes me feel rather like that jolly Pied Piper fellow who took away all the little children and kept them for his own.

As I said, I am a writer. I was the author of such popular works as 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', 'Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found there' and 'A mathematical treatise on the number two'. I am very particular about the spelling of the words ca'n't and wo'n't, which should be written with TWO apostrophes! You see that I am right.

However, in spite of my being a very good writer (A very good writer indeed), I do in fact have grander ambitions. It has always been my lifelong dream to model for a menswear catalogue such as Next or Burton Menswear. As you can see from the photograph above, I am very photogenic. The only problem I had when this photo was being taken was that I had to hold my leg in that awkward position for the best part of half an hour, and I had the cramps for days afterward.

I have recently been putting together a portfolio to send to Menswear modelling agencies. I am sure they will be impressed by my versatility and varied range of expressions. Here, for example, is the pose I like to call 'Bored, verging on nap':

This next photo I call 'Standing, verging on nap'

The photo below is a fine example of the pose I call 'Reading, verging on nap'

This last picture I consider to be my finest. It began as a pose entitled 'sitting, verging on nap' but evolved into something much greater.  I took my inspiration from a number of menswear catalogues in which a variation of this pose features, usually whilst sporting a dashing lambswool jumper or pastel-coloured t-shirt.

I call it 'The wistful pondering gaze':

I sincerely hope you have enjoyed my whistlestop tour through my portfolio of menswear catalogue poses. I hope soon to be doing some imaginative writing on the merits of adverbs, but now I shall be off to practice my lute. Come back soon!

Your aged friend,

Lewis Carroll
